Nikki’s Top 5 Skin Care Products
Hello my
beauty lovers and welcome to another installment of Nikki’s Top 5 in beauty. It
is a beautiful spring day today in Sydney, I am sitting on the balcony and
enjoying the heat, however, my skin is not. When it is hot or I am stressed, my
skin goes crazy and seen as the past few weeks have been extremely busy in my
life my skin is SUFFERING.
Today I decided
to take a step back from the makeup side of things and talk about my Top 5 Skin
care products. I love skin care as without a clean and moisturized based your
makeup will not look good. So here are my top 5 picks I believe will change up your
skin care game.
First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay
I rotate through
cleansers because if I use something for too long my skin gets too use to it
and the product will no longer work. I am currently using this First Aid Beauty
cleanser and it is doing a good job at keeping my oils under control whilst not
completely drying out my skin. This gentle foaming cleanser helps to remove
makeup, dirt and grim but is not stripping in the slightest. LOVE IT!
Biore Self Heating One Minute Mask with Natural Charcoal
Mario Badescu Drying Cream
Mario Badescu is
one of my favourite skin care brands on the market. It is more affordable than
most brands sold in Mecca and is highly affective for my oily/ acne prone skin.
When my skin is particularly bad, like it is now I use this drying cream after I
moisturise to balance my skin and help prevent and clear up blemished areas.
Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream
If this little pot of gold was not so expensive it would be a staple in
my collection. This is a product I love especially in the cooler months as my under
eyes get dry and watery. I have used this every night for the past week and I
have noticed a difference in the way my makeup applies and just in the overall
texture of my under eye skin. Now all I need is for them to make this cheaper
and it would be my go to!
The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil
I've always loved Tea Tree oil as it acts as a spot treatment for acne.
When I got back from Europe my skin was terrible (a mixture of the plane air
and lack of sleep) and I needed something I knew would work. I went back to
this and noticed instant results. I have started back using it this week and it
truly is an all-natural life changer in a tiny bottle.
These are my
favourite skin care products that I am using to clear up my skin right now, I would
love to hear what your favorites are in the comment section below. As always, thank
you for reading this blog post and if you enjoyed make sure you are subscribed
